7 hours at the ER with my dad due to a low platelet count from a blood test he did on Monday. The doc called us and wanted us to go to the ER for a platelet transfusion, after 7 hours and 4 blood tests they determined that the test on Monday was invalid and his numbers are fine. Bastards

Yeah not to happy. Back at the hotel now try to get pops in bed for the night. For a guy bitching about how late it is and how tired he is, he sure isn't in any hurry to go to sleep.

 

My Dad had the lower lobe of his left lung removed. One afternoon the doctor came in and said that one of the drain tubes were leaking and he had to put a new one in. He said that "that day was his birthday and he was late, you don't need any freezing, right?" He then proceeded to cut a new drain tube in my Dad without freezing him at all!!!!!!
