With Fords reliability issues any bit of extra warranty is worth the extra cash im not paying!
I would get the warranty since newer vehicles are harder to work on and require tools and scanners I am not willing to purchase. But a friend once told me you can fix anything on a Ford with a ball peen hammer. He called it a "Ford Tool".
I am a Ford full sized truck guy, had great runs with the 2 I have owned and my Pop has with the half dozen or so he has owned. Can't say too much about Ford Rangers since I have not owned one, nor driven/wrenched one that was bought in good condition and kept that way.
