never had one of those whips, never needed it.

I hang a pair of dirty draws from my clutch lever, (skid mark out)

no one comes near me.

Man if that were true half the guys in the touring forum would have to sell their bikes.

Saw one today - had to do a double take - 100% John Q citizen on a bone stock bike - whip on the clutch lever

no way i would ride that bike with that thing hanging on the brake lever. besides looking stupid, it's dangerous. the guy in the bottom picture is from around my parts. he's been around along time and that bike used to be blue.

A lot of people don't know this but "Git back whips" date back to the first motorcycle club which was founded by a bunch of 4 foot jockeys, "Satan's Trifecta MC". The whips worked well when wailing on similar unarmed 4 foot people on horseback, not so well on a highway beating an SUV next to you.
