Anyone use/have a "get back" whip?

There's the problem! Unicorns need a lighter touch.
I've only seen one or two on the roads around here and to me they looked like a leather art project from shop class or macrame' tassels that hang off flower pots on old lady's porches.
And everybody knows that the best use for whips aren't on the roadway.

Those are not whips, they are speedometers. When they are horizontal with the ground that is just the right speed.

I really cant imagine anyone thinking they are going to get in to some epic battle with a car and win. I've heard of everything from get back whips to pieces of spark plug ceramic ( supposedly to throw at the windows of cars to smash the glass) and all seem like terrible ideas.
I just twist the throttle and get the F away from the idiots.

Back in the day people weren't that courageous and bikers traveled in groups.
So the car operator was kind of intimidated, plus knew better.
But that was many years ago. Now it's a novelty.

No get back whip for me. They must be a regional thing; I don't see 'em much in the Chicago and Milwaukee area.
