I recently replaced a set of tires that only had 30k miles in 8 years. Quite the vagabundo, huh?

Spot on! But I also enjoy the time to disconnect. Walking from one room to another at home doesn't afford that. Can't really put on some heavy music and relax on a 23 foot trip

They were getting close to that. They must have deteriorated to some extent as they lost grip with the slightest hint of moisture even without being close to being slick

They are not a good tire I am telling you,... I switched to Coopers and I usta get 35-38,000 out of them on my other trucks but sometimes you get an unusual vibration with them, I use centramatics and do not balance the tires, they balance the entire rotating assembly and should give better tire wear.

The OEM tires must be a different part number than what you can buy on the street, even when same brand and model.
I cannot typically replicate the long wear usually experienced with the original tire set on a new vehicle.
Hmmmmmm. (Scratching head...)
74,000 MILES???? My SUV will be a year old in two weeks and I have 3,800 miles on it. Last one was 38 months old and had 17,000 on it. But, my "commute" is only 35 FEET and I walk....s'posed to be healthier for me.....
