Evening Woods. Just finished scrapping the ice off the driveway. Then went to the shop and used the loader to clean the sidewalks on town side. Next on the list, unload the dishwasher.

Hear anything from the potential job?

 

Yeah. It's mine if I want it. Talked to my boss today and pretty much let her know it's not because I'm unhappy or want to leave. I wasn't looking, this pretty much just fell into my lap. Told her what they were offering and wanted to know if she could match it. I got a resounding yes from her, turns out she had just recommended me for a promotion.

I have next week to think things over.

Pretty content. I'm on a test range now so it's a pretty relaxed blue collar environment with some really good guys. New job would be a pretty stuffy office position, lots of presentations and stuff like that. Problem is I'm a tech working a engineers position so it's hard to figure out what to do with me pay scale wise because they can't put me into the proper pay scale without a degree.
