I really dig the outside stamping in a stone pattern. I can put a border on it, stain the border a dark color and the inside a lighter color, kinda picture frame it and really make it pop.

Are you doing that with dyes Jack or with stain after finishing? NPS architects were always trying to make large concrete areas blend in around blds and used a lot of earth tone dyes ! Try matching the color and replacing that crap when it heaves or spalds from snow and ice removal !

They started a new pay system a while back, I'm a DT. Think it's an equivalent to a GS-12, trying to get into the upper 13 or lower 14 range. That's the same advice I got from the bosses. They said that I've effectively built an empire where I'm at, the only problem is documenting all of it.

The NPS is a conservative organization regarding pay scale ! I was a gs13 step 10 but I had 60 folks and about 4m budget not counting soft money ! I can't comlain ! One thing I would get with our hr folks when I did a desk audit on a position due to accrued or increased duties " was why did you let them have that or do that " stop it and cease! HR is the fickle finger of fate with the gubberment ! I suspect you know that though!
