TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part V
LOL I worked 3rd shift for a little over a year and one morning when I got in I decided I would go squirrel hunting.
Took my old .22 and headed for the woods. I found an old hickory tree and sat down at base of it and promptly fell asleep. Don't even remember feeling sleepy, just out like a light.
I was dreaming that it was raining and I woke up to realize there was a squirrel right over my head gnawing on a hickory nut and the shavings were falling down onto my cap.

Hahaha She knew it wasn't deer season!
Evening woods.
I don't understand why the first round of the draft takes sooooo long. They should all know who they want weeks before!

I have done the same thing. Very relaxing and I find it recharges my battery.
Evenin Woods! Dinner done, chores done and watching the final episode of Lonesome Dove for the nth time.
My Pop got to his brothers place in Illinois this evening. He actually called his brother and told him he had made it as far as Paducha and was going to call it a day and start off fresh in the morning. My Uncle told him "If you made it to Paducha you should just drive the last 60 miles". I am ever so slightly worried about Dad's mental health. He has driven that route at least a dozen times.
Forecast says 1-4" of white stuff starting around 0300.
Not going to the office tomorrow. Family stuff to do and it is just easier to stay home then relocate midday.
