Evening, evening Woods. I have not only managed to slip back into the country, but I have successfully managed to host the Annual HOA meeting and live to tell about it. I think everyone felt well informed and no one, save for one guy, questioned the dues increase after I got done showing all the financials.

While Lou's idea has merit, I didn't want to prolong the BS.
The guy was a democrat and he wanted to know if he was gonna get a refund on dues paid when others are forced to pay up. They want their cake and to eat it too don't they?

You could offer him the position of dues collector and see how he feels. Tell him any uncollected dues will come out of his paycheck.
