Started out as 3/4" thick. It really isn't bad to machine. I'd rather cut it than 304 SST.

I'm not a fan with working with stainless. 316 isn't bad to work with.

Did you guys watch Fear The Walking Dead? That one almost put me to sleep the first episode but I gave it another shot and it got better
