Yeah, it sucks. It's made worse because they are drunk when this **** gets stirred and they get out of control. Not physically, but they say a lot that prolly should not be said or at least not be said with the passion that it is in that state of mind

 

Ah, alcohol, the energy drink that improves social grace. I will never forget, at about 23 or 24 years of age getting drunk with my Grandpa and somehow we ended up in one of those events. Who would have ever thunk a guy that age was that big and strong? Hahaha....lesson learned.

 

Finally!!!! Will likely install my tuner this morning and take the King for a spin this evening.

 

You should come to my family functions then! Lots of turmoil lately.

Summary: haven't spoken to my sister in nearly 6 months, her husband doesn't like me because I haven't "done anything for him", my cousin has divided the family because she didn't send out thank you cards after her daughters wedding (long story there), and my mom hardly speaks to me because I told her to stop promising things to my kids without speaking to me first.

Damn Craig! Sounds like my family. My sister is throwing away a 16+ year common law marriage for an old flame. Problem is, she started renewing that relationship without first telling her CL hubby it was over. Also got an uncle who is barely making it due to physical disability that is also trying to find a way to keep his son (26) from going BACK to prison. Add onto that trying to help Pop cope with the recent loss and my own drama in my lil family unit here and I am jsut over whelmed

I'll tell ya, family functions just aren't any fun anymore. It's sad to say, but unless my family starts relaxing and not being soooooooo bitter about everything, there won't be too many functions I'll be attending. Sad.

I have a client throwing away a 30+ year marriage because an old flame found him on Facebook. So that's just gotta suck - at least for one of the parties.
