I'm thinkin' the Woods would just skim over any rules, anyway.

Not very well. Too wet to go shooting. Need to practice my 5, 10, 15 yard shots. Plus im looking at aprox $250 in fee's to do it. Talked to a sheriff and they have honored 80% of the CCW applicants.

Does CA have an accuracy requirement as part of their CC process? As bad as it sounds here in OK, unless they've changed, all they want you to do is hit the paper.
#2206
Yes. 45 seconds at 15, 10 yards to get 80% of hits in the circle with a mag change and 6 rounds in each mag. 35 seconds to get %85 in at 5 yards with a mag change. 6 rounds per mag.

Plus a one on one interview with the sherrif and a safty test on paper. Background check as well.

Good luck.
6-11" of sn..er sand en route, temps in the 20's. 40's yesterday, o-well.
To bad ZPG never caught on, we wouldn't be in the fix we're in.
Used to hunt, don't anymore, just enjoy fishing more, but I'd shoot packs of dogs in the boonies for sure.

Okee Dokee ... I guess I stirred the post with the coyote picture and as far as I'm concerned they are, and have always been, dangerous in and among the population. I was "confronted" by one last fall in the back of the property while doing cleanup. They hunt for whatever they can get. Obviously Dan has an affection for them. Sorry.
That was a good pic. Any pic with a dead yote is a good pic.
I've got a pic too with a good story. Some may appreciate it because it's kinda Indian like (I killed it with my bow), and it stirs the sympathies (bobcat was a fawn killer)
I found a couple of dead half eaten fawns stuffed under a log on my creek a few years ago. It was a fresh kill, so I hung a tree stand and waited. This big Tom came in and I ended his fawn killing days. I've killed many a bobcat, but this was the biggest I've ever killed with my bow. His paws were huge. He made a pretty good living on fawns I reckon.
Only sad part of the story is I left his *** hanging on a fence. Had no desire for the pelt or anything else....
