TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part V
When I got my first HD back in 2002 I had never heard of one. My friend told me what it was for and asked if I wanted to do the run, then asked if I wanted to work security with him on the run. He had been on the committee for years and was in charge of security, which mainly consists of checking that everyone with a beer in their hand has a wristband that proves they showed ID and are over 21. This being the 30th year we are expecting a huge turnout.
Usually don't do to many of the runs. As a matter of fact the only ones that I have been on have been in Arizona (Toys for Tots and Wounded Warrior rides)
I did a Toys for Tots run years back but December in Colorado can be cold and they keep the ride short...point A to point B, not a poker run.
Neat, I want to ride in a helicopter....any helicopter. I ain't too picky. Guess I will put it on my Bucket List.
Never been in a helicopter either. I wood if the opportunity presented itself, but I ain't paying the high tourist bucks to go up in one!
I have a pal from HS that is a Blackhawk pilot for the Colorado National Guard. I should reach out to him before he retires and see if I could get a ride.
Mornin, Mike and Marcus. My computer has taken this opportunity to download some updates so I have been watching the little wheel spin for about 30 minutes. I am easily amused.
Morning Mick.
That amuses me to when I download something or install something. If I watch the wheel spin and the bar go along, it goes faster.......Right?
