I thought the guy was kidding. He was not. My Buddy called the guy who hauled it, had him look for it. Guy found it laying on a counter in the shop. No problem, just overnight it. $153.00 to overnight the thing.

I found the RV park handy guy and had him hook a reverse 110 into the place so we could at least turn on a lamp. Of course we couldn't use the 12V lights....the battery in the RV was dead.

Suffice it to say my trip to the Twilight Zone was entertaining if nothing else.

Russ, do you recall me mentioning last year I have a buddy who has no reticence in revealing intimate details about his Mrs. that no man should share with another? This is him.

He is ADD (apparently a fancy psycho term for scatter brained) and getting him to focus on the task at hand is like herding cats. Jeeezuuuussss.....

Didn't even need to open the link, Ken. Been there, done that for 2 days. 50 amp cord with a female end that is best described as what you use to hook up an electric clothes dryer. Tabs on posts all face to outside of fitting. I am on a first name basis with every RV parts counterman within 50 miles of where we were. Nobody stocks 'em but they'll be happy to order....for 459.00, I'm sure I mentioned that.

Shall we discuss how winter screws with RV plumbing if you don't winterize? Nah, that's too painful right now.
