Russ...I had thought the same thing, the velcro would be the weak link. Is a hair dryer comparable to a heat gun or do I need to make a run to Harbor Freight? My wife failed to clean the lint screen from her last hair dryer and just replaced it without asking me if there was anything to be done to salvage it. I inherited it rather than trashing it, cleaned the screen and it heats up just dandy
