TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part V
Yeah, and some other stuff. My parents always worked, both of them. They worked hard and were very responsible with their money. Our Aunt has never achieved anything greater than dance director on a casino boat and sift manager at a Walgreens. My parents helped her financially over the years and she resented that! She once told my sister "If you guys think I should buy a house instead of renting you should all buy me an F***ing house!"

Here's an all encompassing "Evenin Woods" for y'all! Beth went to get us Qdoba burritos (That's miniature donkeys, right Mick?) for dinner. Watching Despicable Me with the kids. A good end to a good day.
I call them family buzzards.
Most of the time they start coming around when a family member (who might have some money) is nearing the end of their trail. People who haven't been a part of their lives for years will start showing up (circling) and trying to ingratiate themselves to the ailing family member.
I've seen it too many times. It's disgusting...

I hope better days ahead and peace in your family...

Izzo... glad to see you got to blow dry the bike.... Prayers always to your wife. I got a few miles in today myself, actually been riding all week except one day. I had a new front tire and wheel bearings installed on the RK today... 42,000+ miles and the wheel bearings toast... geeesh!
Just before Mom went into the hospital back in December she had called to whine about her latest whatever it was and Mom wasn't saying anything, so she asked my Mom "What f***ink stick is up your ***?"
There's at least one in every family Mark. When my wife's uncle died they fought like cats and dogs over every scrap the old man had.
