Purple bull story.
City boy visits country cousin. Country cousin tells city boy there is a hottie next door but he's too shy to talk to her. City boy is a slicker and knows all the tricks. He tells country boy to paint the horns on his bull purple. The girl will notice, they'll start talking about bulls and what they do and that will break the ice. Country boys does that, girl sees bull, no response.
Next day Country boy paints bull's entire head and forequarters purple. Girl looks at bull, nothing.
Country boy is frustrated, paints entire bull purple. Next day girl sees bull and says, Wow, your bull is purple.
Country boys says, Yeah, wanna screw?

When I raised cattle, I bred for body index but also for disposition.
Most all of my cattle were very calm and gentle. Especially my bulls. They were almost like pets but I never encouraged that sort of interaction with them. You don't want an 1800 pound animal to decide he wants to play with you as that seldom ends well and almost cost a friend of mine his life once.
New guys that came to the farm weren't usually aware of the gentleness of the bull and were told that before they could get their first paycheck they had to sneak up behind him and paint the bull's ***** red with a can of spray paint.

Evening Woods!
Jack, this story...will it be told while all of us are sitting down At Woodstock?
Marcus, really good to hear that your Dad is taking the initiative to get out and not become a hermit. Thats huge!
Only time I want to be close to an 1800 lbs bull is if he is upside down and I'm skinning it.
