working at a freezer plant, was doing someone elses job when a guy on a forklift picked up two pallets behind me, I was told they started to jiggle and when he put the load down the top pallet collapsed and fell ontop of me. I didn't see it coming. I woke up when they were putting me on a back board to go the the hospital.

Had an army locker fall on my back. Took 4 years of physical therapy to straighten me out. Lucky for me no permanent damage was done but those 4 years sucked!

7 years ago. remember it like it was yesterday. went back to work 3 weeks late, was in crazy pain. then a month later they took video of me walking all bent over and said I quote" it looks like you're living a normal and healthy lifestyle" and they fired me. court battle of 4 years, 2 back surgeries and a hernia surgery. they said I was faking up until the day their doctor said I needed surgery.. I caught the guy following me one day into walmart. I had to use a cane because my legs would give out and I'd fall down

Transplanted Rocky Mountain elk. There is a LOT of land that was strip mined and reclaimed in that area and of course lots of timber in the Daniel Boone Nat forest. They have done well and wee actually had some make it as far west as my home county. Of course the locals took care of them pretty damn quick. Didn't even have to buy a tag. I've heard that there are still a few around but they are scarce if it's true.

Found an elk track on my farm and stood staring at it for a while before I realized what it had to be.

Old article, but still good info.

Sucks you got hurt and still having to deal with the injuries. But it sounds like you've got your priorities lined out!
