JMHO but if you can afford to do it, this is the way to go especially if you are considering a cam upgrade. And even if you aren't it eliminates a known issue on our early TC engines.

Go with this and you will be good for the duration! I did and consider it one of the best things I've done for my bike. But then I like my old bike and have no intention of getting rid of it. I've been known to put in a few little runs each year, so I don't mind making the investment in order to have a more dependable, better functioning machine.

This is a great video on replacing cams. It's about an hour but covers the job quite well.

Got a bit of Kubbing in yesterday, needed some stuff for musky fishing later this week and off to Cabela's I went, high 50's when I started and sunny, not to bad.
Cabela's didn't have what I needed, off to Gander Mountain, 61 degree's by now and the sun definitely feels good.
Gander didn't have it, off to Throne Bros, a local Musky shop and the sun had decided to hide behind the clouds, and temps went back under 60, not quite so much fun.
Thorne had it thank god, was starting to lose the battle to stay warm.
Hand warmers I installed a big help though.
Might hit 70 Wednesday, have the feeling that will be it, maybe get another day of Kubbing in, one more fishing trip and put the summer toys away.
The Scooter anyway.
When it comes to knife's. I like using the Benchmade ones, but will use the Colombia River ones sometimes ever since the Benchmade went over the side of the boat.
Ya all have a great day.
