The Seadogs and Ravens have proven you can win it all with a mediocre offense and a stellar defense. Elway has been working towards that. Manning has definitely played one year too long, IMHO. Broncos wood have been better off with Osweiler if they don't need a great offense. Give the kid real experience while he rides the defense.

People will follow the trends because they think that makes them unique, but in fact it makes them sheep. If you like something, fine but some people want to be seen as trendy yet independent and I think that is a contradiction. Just think back to the chopper craze of the last decade. People who couldn't even ride were buying them. People who couldn't afford them were buying them and ended up "bike broke" and flooding the market with used bikes which, of course, is good for the rest of us looking at buying. Not that I am....not that I am ever not considering it.

I guess they want to keep winning and not have a year of building a new QB. Denver fans will not tolerate a losing season well. On the other hand, my Raiders...you can see where I am going.

Raider fans should be used to it by now!
Couldn't resist, Mark.

I am used to both the losing seasons and the ribbing. No harm, no foul.

I do take a little bit of joy seeing the reaction of the Bronco fans on Facebook during games. "Retire! Trade Him! We Want Tebow!" Its good ****!

My daughter is a Raider fan.
The league is a better place if the Raiders are relevant. Don't see that happening in the near future, though. Jack Del Rio is not the answer.

It is the owners of the Raiders that hamstring the team. They are control freaks. Let the GM and coaches run the team and the rest can handle the business side of things

An acquaintance owned a restaurant in the Bay Area that Mark Davis frequented. Said he is an ODD bird.
