Actually I was thinkin' that we ( you and I, of course ) might have been singled out by the Pope when he was here for dedication and devotion in regards to doing whatever it takes to continue the sentence that was visited upon so many, many, many, many, many, many years ago :>)

No shame, Larry. I just can't help myself sometimes as far as making a comment about some things. I should have kept my typing to myself and gone along with the joke.

A little "reflective" here today folks........
My 2.5 year quest to lead this small division upon my bosses retirement in December was quashed when corporate advised the 'new" structure places a new "Manufacturing Manager" in this location with us sales types reporting direct to the National Sales Manager at the Mother Ship. My boss, the"Division Sales Manager" pulled it off because he owned the company prior to it's acquisition by the controlling entity today. Our inside joke between him and I was always "someday all this headaches gonna be yours....."
A little bit of smoke and mirrors here, as a way of not elevating any sales staff (I'll now be the veteran) even though some job responsibilities change - some significantly.
Sometimes God and Life toss you a little curve ball..... Aw well, I got no complaints in the bigger picture but need to consider some potential future options.
Thanks for letting me "Ventilate" a bit...... Have a good'n.

I'm not overly religious as I believe we all worship or practice in our own way but the way this idiot who resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue forces his views on visiting dignitaries is shameful. The Pope shouldn't be subjected to this sort of activism from anyone but unfortunately it has become what we expect from our Narcissist In Chief.

On September 30, 1955, actor James Dean is killed in a highway accident while driving his Porsche 550 Spyder from Los Angeles to a sports car race in Salinas, California. His last known words, uttered right before impact when Rolf Wütherich (his passenger and mechanic) told Dean to slow down when they saw a Ford coupe in front of them about to drive into their lane, were said to have been: "That guy's gotta stop... He'll see us.
