Greg, its not that I am rich or averse to saving money I just want to help out small business.

Larry, it is parts 24 and 26 that are both partially rounded. Mike at Elite V Twin did some grinding on the lever so the bolt could tighten more and pinch down to get me back on the road.

Illness update: My wife's Aunt is a PA out in Brush, CO. She said my wife probably has strep along with the sinus and ear infections since her throat is now very painful, and prescribed me a round of antibiotics too, just in case we all decide "Sharing is caring".

Thanks for that link, Larry. I think that will be very useful for me. Dohickey, rotator girder and other vague names can be frustrating for you vets of the TOAK.

That is a great site for finding parts. There are others as well if you want them.

Yeah, I will take the other links. I play the nerd but am half decent at most maintenance and repairs.

Mark, I was not questioning your decision to have them do it.
If they seem competent when/if they have a dyno day and I can make it up there, i will happily pay them to tune my bike next spring. And/or do other work I may not be comfortable/competent to do myself.

That really stinks about the wife.

Evening Woods! Made it past the Cadillac Ranch today and on into Farmington NM. 840 something miles. I'm little tired so I'm gonna take off my clothes and pose on the bed for the missus....

I know, I figured you were ribbing me about it. But I really do like the small business model. Big corps can offer low prices but you lose that good customer relationship.
