Stan, since you're the Sporty guy, what do you think about this one? Not sure why it has a "salvage" title but it looks clean.

Yep. I wouldn't mind the wreck but flood would be a different matter. I was thinking about having it around the house just to run around the neighborhood, maybe ride to work instead of putting miles on the King. Perhaps I could interest the missus in riding it? Who knows....

Will you be extolling the virtues and unlimited knowledge of the TOAK? Is this a replacement for the defunct radio show?

LOW version - your **** will be pretty close to da ground
Salvage title - kinda Ugh......
Low & 883 would be very good if the SO wants to learn to ride.
My '99 1200 is direct mount, not rubber mounted but otherwise a great run-around bike. I was lucky and found an exceptionally clean one for what little I use it.
Personal opinion I'd go older 1200, clean, for the same money or less, but my OL has no interest in ever driving her own.......

I thought it was pretty wacky myself. There is nothing to these things, one o-ring in between the halves and a seal and wiper for each puck. Not rocket science. I had to pull these apart as the pucks weren't going all the way back in and causing drag. Apparently they don't want you to rebuild the Brembos, they want to sell you another for $190.00 each.
