I'm still lookin' at rear tires. Stopped at the Indy here that has been here for years. Guy there has about got me convinced to try the Michelin Commander. 25 dollars if I take 'em the wheel, 65 if they do it on bike.

For 40 bucks difference I'm thinkin' of just letting them do it.

Friend of mine is run nun Mich's, interested to see how the werk out for him.....

Guy tells me they're not as hard as the Dunlops but he gets 5-6k miles more out of the Michelin tire.

$65 for an on the bike tire change is a pretty good deal.
How much for the tire?

Hmmm.... I heard the opposite from some people... of course they run quieter as the wear from what I have heard vs the Funlops that start to growl at ya....

The chip and seal on the roads around here seem to wear tires quicker... that crap should be outlawed I tell ya.. hit one the other night coming home from pool league last week and whew... fun in the friggin dark!!! Start and stopping a lot does more wear on them too... just keep rollin and you will be fine!!!

Good.... I put 16,000 on a Funlop rear and 28,000 on the front....
