This is at the center of my sometimes erratic relationship with Harley.
After looking at several used, and even a few aftermarket units, I calculated that I would have 65-75% of new cost invested in a used unit - pre 2014.
I bit the bullet and bought new.......I'll be keeping the bike for awhile and the style matches the bike. Heck, the bike is new too.......
As we all know the rub is in the price of these Harley doo-dads. Being a salesman I know "if ya want it bad enough, ya pays the price". It's the American way.
I know myself and might have regretted anything less.........moving on :-)
