No, ya old firefighter, the Polaski hold is a wrestling legend. Polaski wrestled all over the country putting it on people. Nobody escaped. Finally one night in a small town a guy broke free. Announcer rushed up to him and said, "Incredible, no one has ever done that. How did you do it?" Guy says, "Well, he put the hold on me and I was disoriented. I looked and right in front of me was a giant pair of nuts so I bit the crap out 'em. They were mine."

I asked him but his demands for a trip to Central America and an unlimited expense account got the project way over budget.

Keith, the program Mysteries at the Museum had a segment about that axe just last week. Wasn't like I knew what it was prior to....I'd probably have referred to by its technical designation, the 'axe thingy ya use to fight fires'.

Believe the inventor was Ed Pulaski. Part of the segment was him leading a crew underground and letting a fire burn over them. Saved the whole crew.
