Funny one last night.
Yesterday the wife asked if I had any plans. Said nope I don't, you? Suggested we sit at home, have tuna melt and soup for supper and watch movies. Said ok no problem, should be fun. Kid is gone, new TV set up with cable in the bedroom, good to go. She even said that's a great idea, been awhile since we had tv in the bedroom (when I was 19 and living at home).
At about 4pm, get a text saying she was going to go to her friends house for a beer, and then come home. No problem, gives me time to relax, get on the box that takes up too much of my winter time and surf the net. 7pm...text, whatcha doing? I replied that I was thinking of making myself something to eat, cause I'm getting hungry. She said go for it, still visiting...ok. Get another text at 8:45. Started the jeep, letting it warm up.
Fine...
Gets home at 9:15, asks if I'm mad. Replied no, just that we had plans and next time just tell me sooner so I can plan my own evening.
So she asked about the movie thing, and to make popcorn. Ok I said. Get to finish watching the avengers age of whatever it's called and 10 minutes into the movie, she's snoring.
When the hell did she turn into the man of this house and I'm wearing the dress I thought. I'm supposed to go out for beer, miss supper and wreck the evening plans! FML hahaha
