That late night hickey game and mass transit ride must have really taken it out of Greg. He is usually in the clubhouse by now.
My day is pretty wasted already. Need to go back to emissions testing this morning...they are open 8-1 today. Then fiddle fart around the house til about 2 and head into the office to get a spare laptop ready for my colleague who will be there around 3. At least I am not driving through Denver to meet him, though that would have given me the chance to meet Greg for coffee. Not sure how long it will take me to get the guy moved over to the spare laptop. It SHOULD be a simple hard drive swap from the old one to the new one since they are identical models, but in the IT world hardly anything works that way.
Oh well, being one of the few hourly employees on my team, and in my department altogether, I get paid overtime for anything outside my M-F, 8 hour days. I cannot use Flex time for overtime or weekends I have worked, the IBM policy is if you work anything outside your normal shift it is overtime. I am actually allowed 15% OT each week without manager approval. 6 hours of OT is a nice bump in the check but since we are slow right now, I cannot justify it. I wouldn't abuse it as my manager, friendship not withstanding, would sh1tcan me in a heartbeat if I was to be so dumb.

Time to get "busy" Cynthia!
Mark it's most unfortunate that you won't make it down here. Don't know what I'm gonna do with my day, now. Even put on my best aftershave in anticipation.

Good morning sorted WoodMeisters.
Uncle Larry, is that an old Loverboy tune out of your past? I remember a few parties in the day listening to that stuff.
CompUMark, if Russ is using a product called Wireshark, and there was a product available called WireWhale, would that be an upgrade?
