Automatic and swift death penalty for any convicted felon who uses a gun in the commission of a crime would be a good start.

Yep. That would make a nice Executive Order.

I have several weapons which are registered to me. I used to have a bunch that were not, but they were all lost in a tragic fishing accident...
Any time the government says they are doing something "for the safety and welfare of the American people" you can kiss some of your rights goodbye forever.

There are enough laws on the books that if used properly would take care of the problem.

To paraphrase our friend Doc, laws don't do ****. The people who are actually going to obey laws are not the problem

If I recall correctly the last couple of mass shootings occurred in states with some of the most restrictive gun ownership laws in the country.

I'm all for safety on this issue, but more laws aren't the answer, especially from that POS.

Yep. Perhaps some of the pundits are right and this EO will drive people to vote for a Republican.

Time for an 80% ar lower and maybe a 1911 80% frame. I don't mind the background checks but CA limiting the approved firearms that are allowed everywhere else sucks. Thank god for family in Montana.
