I am hoping I won't be subjected to that particular event again. Of course, I say that every year. Like many good things somehow it turns into a 'look at me and what I'm doing' contest.

I'd like to drive by, drop a check in a bucket and go home. Might even do it in my underwear if that was the program.

I don't do social functions. OL doesn't even ask. Don't like crowded places, confined spaces, and can't deal with the noise and confusion anymore.
Never liked it much when I was younger, but I put up with it just to keep the peace. Now, pffffft......who cares....

Think I may go to the gun range today. The .380 Bodyguard I bought has an extremely long trigger pull. Will take some getting used to. Bought it primarily for Sherri but I'd like to be proficient with it as well. Low and left pattern, which I think is due to the long pull.

You're probably right about that. Long trigger pull is something you definitely have to get used to. Takes lots of practice.

Mick, one of the guys I shoot with was hitting low left with just about every gun he owned. During one of the training courses we took, the instructor told him to take an extra firm grip on the gun and try again, WA LA, started hitting dead center after that. I was amazed.

Good morning, Chuck. The gun is small and I think part of the problem is due to size I am sticking my finger too far into the trigger guard and not using pad of finger.
