TOAK- Thread Of All Knowledge- Part IV
Thanks for the support, Woods! Venting here helps. A road trip this time of year would be hard on my kids. Pop not around at Christmas time would be something I could never make up for.
Yeah, 66 is not old age, but those were her words...maybe advanced or some other term but still that was her theory. She is from the old school where you did not go to the doctor very often, certainly not for the flu. Looks like that has come back to bite her, hopefully and prayerfully not in an irreversible way.
Sorry to hear about your Pop, Craig. My Pop had both of his replaced 3-4 years ago. The right one first, but that replacement model was no longer available so they had to use a different model for the left one.

Guess I have been lucky that I only needed to have my pec tendon reattached and nothing replaced
Morning. All this in-law talk makes me think I should visit mine more. Lucky I guess. I like my in-laws. Too bad they are so far away. No pets yet. Kid wrote Santa and wants a dog most of all. I guess I gotta get my fenca all finished for that. Looking at a boxerman dog.
Morning Woods and all fellow recipients of knee replacements. Went to the local Micky D's this morning and hung out with the old farmer crowd for a while. I used to go fairly often, but have kinda slacked off the past several months.
Family eh? Couldn't stand my FIL either and made no bones about it. He's dead now and the world is a better place for it.
But just remember...

I've had 2 shoulder surgeries, and that's enough for me.
