Mornin, Mark. Sounds like the mirror installation was accomplished without personal injury.

 

Yeha Mick, only took about 30 minutes and only needed help once to get the door panel off. I used to do car stereo installations in the past and I remember the dangers of pulling and twisting without a care...can lead to broken retaining clips or worse. And door panels are not easy to repair and killer expensive to replace.

I am not as wrench impaired as I make myself sound at times. I tend to sandbag myself to be humble, afraid to stick my foot in my mouth.

What is the world coming to? I don't have a very good feeling about what the POTUS will say in his address tonight. We already know his feelings on gun ownership by us commoners. I carry and am responsible. I don't flash it to anyone, most of the time I don't even know its there...which is how it should be. But we all know its not the good people for whom new laws are passed, it is for the very small minority that screw things up for the rest of us. Kinda like missing recess because of the class clown....losing freedom because of the stupidity of the few.

Mark, it is difficult to believe what our POTUS has done to this nation and frankly, the office of President. I know lots of people won't watch simply because of their distaste for Obama but they should watch. It is important to know what this man who is 'leading us' has to say, whether or not we agree with his statements.
