Sorry to hear about your brothers, Tick. Sounds like a hope for the best situation, be prepared for the worst. Worst part of gettin old, the folks that don't stay with you.
I have a situation in the garden; the zucchini ain't! Cut a couple up, they're just squash that looks like zucchini. Mebbe that's why they're so big. Not complaining, can use the squash in chili and soup, wuddn't do that with the z stuf. Don't know how I got em, never grew any like that. Got some strange squash, hot peppers that ain't supposed to be, yeller tomatoes I dint plant, and some nice big pumpkins that were volunteers, never did plant any like them before. And today, one of my tomato plants had a walnut (they're big and green before the "fruit" falls off and reveals the nut inside) in a group of tomatoes. Bird musta dropped it, no walnut trees close by, just luck it landed a few feet up in a mater plant. Freezers are almost full already, got enuf left out there to fill another one. Been giving some away. Rather have more than I can use than buy grocery store stuf. This year my grocery bill has topped $200 in a month a few times (that includes stuf like toilet paper & soap).

Hadda nice pool & jacuzzi Phoenix, pita to keep clean and mold free. Dust storm come by, you'd hafta back flush the filter several times 'fore the water cleared up, could take 2 or 3 days. I did enjoy it when I got to use it, though. Don't ever want anudder one, less I get enuf money to pay someone else to take care of it. And indoors, wus kinda gross picking out the dead birds and drowned squirrels. Stupid squirrels would go for a swim and then couldn't climb out.

Brother made it through his surgery. Doing ok now. Outlook is still wait and see. Other brother is home now. His internal bleeding seems to have been caused by the use of warfin.
So both in lot better position than we were hearing yesterday.
