saw a horrific crash scene, 3 college students crossed a 2 lane highway with out stopping at the stop sign............the semi t-boned the car, severed a telephone pole, and hit a second.......passengers in the car were dead at the scene.....driver had a broken neck.........just something you just can't shake off/away......

the dust had settled and a few vfd personnel were there when I rolled up to it........I was able to back down the road once they closed it ..........that one second of not looking or misjudgement cost 2 lives.....happens all th time to us on the 2 wheel front.....it also gets the cages too.

[QUOTE=krwould;14409165]I did get a chance to make those pieces for the mufflers doc.... seem like they were werkin well...
/QUOTE]
In the 60's those were called sumptin like Snuf or nots, couple bucks a pair. Hadda spring to hold tension, so you could reach down and turn em quiet when ya saw a cop. Had em on the straight pipes on the old Honda 305. Just killed the power in quiet mode. Werked good, though, sounded like a 125cc putt putt with em.
Can't see em in the pic, mebbe I'd taken them off. Or lost one, had that happen once, just disappeared.
