Yeah, she's been in since tuesday, and can still barely walk on it. Been lucky, I'm surrounded by em but either haven't been bit or it doesn't affect me.

I hate them things... got into sone in some insulation one time.. didn't get bit fortunately...

I've been bit on this job more times than I care to count.. never know it's happening at the time though. A couple left marks that took over a year to heal up... but nothing this bad

Usually you'd know it. Could have been the ones that took a real long time to heal. They can make you real sick, and in severe cases flesh starts rotting around the bite. Had those, scorpions and black widows in the aircraft hangars in Phoenix, and we'd take a black widow or scorpion over one of those anytime. Hope they got to it in time so your wife heals up ok.

Good thing she's in the hospital. Hope they're keeping her pain under control, too, that's gotta hurt.
