Al, saw this pic, ural sidecar on a sporty. Those eye bolts through the frame look like a really bad idea to me, that's gotta weaken that frame bad, especially since it's in the middle of that front downtube. If someone made a bolt on adapter kit for Sporties, I'd put the '98's car on the 883. Wouldn't be a ball of fire rig, but at least would be able to cruise interstates, but I don't want to do any cutting or welding to put a sidecar on it, the conversions I've read about involved that.

Side opposite oncoming traffic, right side here, left in countries that take after England. I see pictures of both sides here and there, so it must be something like right hand drive cars here; you can own one but they aren't sold new here.

Urals are only set up for two wheel drive when the car's on the right (as in Russia); British Urals are only sold in single wheel drive since it doesn't fit with the car on the left.

 

Think that would be pretty scary to be stickin that hack into oncoming traffic!!!!
