Poser's Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VII
Time to get a nap in so I can stay awake for the hockey game tonight.
Another beautiful day in the northland today. Sunshine and about up to 50 again today.

Afternoon Doc... sounds good. I'd rather be riding, we're taking the other unit off line as we speak, so they can inspect all the coal bunkers. No OT for 2-3 months
OH BOY!!!.....When is the big clean-up/repair supposed to get started?
Not sure on a start date yet... all I know is unit one will be down for about 6-8 weeks and unit two will be down for around 3 months. Not the way they had intended to do it. They were going to inspect unit one's bunkers one at a time, with the unit on line. Someone brought up safety concerns, so it's coming down as we speak.

Sounds like someone is using good sense, even though I'd guess it's going to screw up work schedules and production for months. I've seen real expensive equipment destroyed when someone took shortcuts.

Yesturday was a lot colder than expected, so the Ural didn't get a wash ride. Picked up a microwave at Home Depot with the filthy thing today, then traded it for a nice clean one to cruise out of town on.
Those air shocks I put on the 1200 just don't feel right. It never slammed me off the seat, and all the frost heaves the roads have right now just kinda thumped a bit, no wham and bounce on every one. Rides smoother than my van now. I think it might just be the most comfortable bike I've ridden except for big twin touring Harleys, and the mini glide (Honda Helix scooter), that thing must have a magic suspension, rides like a Town Car. How do they do that with 10" wheels?

When my daughter was around 4 years old, pretty much quit doing OT, wasn't worth the time I could spend with her. Did plenty of 60 hour weeks before that, and quite a few 80's. Don't have much of a life doing that, and I made enough to live decent without it. Sure got a hell of a tax return from the 80 hour weeks!
