Poser's Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VII
Mornin' guys, as Mike said hope Kevin has a quick recovery. 20 degrees out feels like 15. Light snow flurries but I can categorically state there will be no more snow as I went in to Lowes the other day and saw a top o da line Troy Bilt snow blower sitting there with heated grips and joystick shoot with a "returned tag" on it and walked out the door for less than 600 bucks, less then I paid in 09 for their entry level machine. Now returned usually means not set up right at the store and I found the joy stick not assembled and the control rod dsiconected and the clerk says it starts so I found out it dies when the choke was turned off so I am looking at the infamous Taryl Fixes All red neck small engine repair videos (His you tube videos are the best) and will clean the idle air jet, the very same one that plugs up on my 09, today. All snowblower motors made since 09, I am led to believe, are Chondas, Chinese honda clones and they are overhead valves and strong cranks, but the idle air jet is found on top of the carb under a plastic plug instead of in the float bowl like the old Briggs and Tecumsehs....Just turned 61 so it will outlast me....

Shh, no loud noises, got a little girl sleeping downstairs.
Coastie, whatcha need a new blower for, that '09 oughta last another 10-20 years. My '90 Toro is still running good, only replaced the belts, ignition coil thingy, and pull rope. Cleaned the carb out once. Rattles & wobbles the parts have worn so loose, but usually starts first pull and still throws it in the neighbor's yard. Oh yeah, tried the electric starter this winter, froze up, had to take it apart and clean it out, werks fine now. Was so rusted inside I probably hadn't tried it in several years.

Hi Tick, bit warmer down here. I'm hoping the 1200 will start tomorrow, might need to get another battery. Hell, it's old enough, should anyway.
Weather guessers calling for rain on Monday. Don't know how much. Ain't gonna put battery back in bike yet. They calling for 3-5 inches of the frozen rain by end of next week.

I never pulled the batteries out of the 1200 or Ural, wishful thinking for the Harley, went 7 or 8 weeks for the Ural before the roads cleared enough.
