Got two rides in today, both on the Ural, shopping and checking out the road conditions before taking the sportster out. Rain pretty much cleaned up the roads north and east, but just a few blocks south, the salt is still there. Even north in the heavier rain area, some intersections have unmelted salt chunk drifts where traffic piled it up, but they were easy to stay out of. I may try heading east on the 1200 this week; hope it'll start, the battery seemed to be going early in the winter. If not, it's close enough to spring, I'll get a new one. They should have kept kickstarters till efi!
Was mid 40's, after the first trip, kept the leather jacket but took off the leather vest and put a lighter weight shirt on, was dressed too hot! I could ride all day in mid 40's with a leather jacket and decent gloves.

thoughts and prayers bud.
