Yes, two kinds, one (more expensive) you just plug in, other kind you have to wire around the ballast - I just took mine out. LED can be way brighter - check that you get the higher wattage ones. They're on Amazon, too.

Chilling down, but I think it was actually warmer than 8.6, supposed to be 10. If I didn't know already, I would have said around 30 while riding, just didn't feel that cold.
