Poser's Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VII
Ran into a lady at the pool today. She don't like me no more because I used to coach her son in hockey and I used to bench him cause he was a little **** disturber. Pissed her off a few times but I was the coach(boss). Made the other hockey parents glad when he sat on the pine.
Hi and bye is all I got from her.

Yup the hockey parents (I got two g-sons who are in leagues and just got ice time on the Red Wings home ice last week)can be very intense, worse then the baseball parents as a general rule in my experience. For the most part they are terrific folks as evidenced by how much time and money they are willing to invest in their kids and the enormous amount of time trucking them around to the camps, and if your gifted tournaments. Big bucks and time. Loads of love and support and a truly old skool attitudes about result only coming from effort. Started doing military pushups with them on the fireplace mantle when they were four and six and lived in my basement and they quickly learned to pull each others pajamas over each others heads in any dustup. Felt sorry for any schoolyard bullys that picked on either one as the two of em are quite a pair. They both know to keep their hands up and any punch thrown is a combination. Of course scrappin' on the ice is discouraged at their ages....They actually run monsters up the hill in the backyard for fun with Buster, and it don't matter how hot. LOL. They are getting older now and they both love to hit the local par 3 course and they both can hit most greens in one and live to beat me in putting, I still work out against the Doc's wishes so I can barely keep up. Double LOL.

You're up late for having a truly awful day lined up tomorrow, best hit the rack! I'm hoping I'll be good for a grocery run tomorrow, ain't been outta the house in a week, 'cept for getting the mail once. Hope the van starts, it's been sitting a long time, too. Darn, shoulda put the tender on it. Probably shouldn't take the 3 wheeler, be in the 30's, and I ain't quite over whatever I got. I'm rambling, should hit the rack, too.
