Hi, Doc....don't think they're riding today. I'm lucky to get out once a week lately. Too much crap going on around here.

Somebody needs to sneak a laxative to Tick.
Local weather guessers are saying all kinds of things about the big snow Friday. National weather service says temps above freezing during the day, mix of rain & snow in the late afternoon. Locals always go with the most snow guestimates, we'd get 40 foot of snow every winter if they were always right. Just hope there ain't no salt, next week has some riding weather.
Sporty still won't start, that battery might be a lost cause. It's old. Ran it way down today, charged it back up, and it would crank for a while. I've done the deep cycle before and brought a battery back, will do that 3 or 4 times and mebbe I'll get a ride next week. Today was too nice, high 50's (but gawdawful wind), went Uralnating, longest I've ridden it in one go. In a heavy crosswind, it works the shoulders keeping it straight. Don't think I went more than 5 miles without a crosswind, roads were almost always angled to the wind. I could tell real easy when the wind did get behind me, was real quiet 35-40mph. Roared in the helmet sitting still facing it. I gotta get a quieter helmet next year.
Passed a county sheriff sitting beside the gravel road out in nowhere, strange place to see a speed trap. I have no idea what the speed limit is on those gravel roads. Probably a lot less than i'd have been doing on the Harley...
