That's the truth ... I went into a local bank to deposit some cash for my oldest son ( between paychecks ) and they stopped me at the door. Said I couldn't come in unless I took my hat and sunglasses off ... ( that's me in my avatar ) ... I told them to go have intercourse with themselves ... I understand the principal but it was the attitude that lit a fire under my butt.

When the va sent out the card to br able to go to the nearest civilian care facilitys. I didn't qualify because it was 40 miles as the crow flies. Not road miles. And would have to call and get authorization first. Don't ever remember having to wait over 30 days to get an appointment.

show a Vet card and go into any hospital or clinic anywhere and anytime you want and get treatment ... I was under the impression ( maybe erroneously ) that if you were a certain distance ( too far ) from a VA hospital that "showing a card" at a local hospital was going to be a resolve ??? If you've never been to a VA hospital, let me tell you, it's an eye opening experience to be sure.

Larry...that may be the case. The point that I was trying to make was why not let the Vets , who actually sacrificed something, have the same benefits and "entitlements" as those who never have nor never will do anything for them. rant over ( lately, I've been really "touchy" about this sh*T)
