Bedtime check, been a bit busy, out of town relatives visiting. Did some Uralnating on dirt roads, and it rained, wasn't supposed to! Got some cleaning to do...

No Harley this weekend, gotta figure out what went wrong with the rear brake. Ural beast is better in mud anyway. And I got a couple miles in the sidecar, does get a bit cramped after the first minute or less.

Well guys I'm mourning the loss of a fellow Coastie, and my personal favorite athlete. Watching all the tributes on the Golf Channel that he helped create. And of course he was instrumental in starting the Champions Tour which allows all us old golfers to relive our youth on the weekends watching athletes of our generation still compete at nearly the highest level. Most importantly he was always the perfect model of an athlete and a statesman for the sport as well as a terrific family man and who unbelievably never left his home town, but rather bought the local golf course in Latrobe and added a wing to the hospital and stayed there all his life, and even George Bush called him a decent, honorable man. Like millions of hie fans I feel lucky to have been, and always will be a member of Arnie's army.

Another Monday mornin and time to get the weeks activities started.
Sad news indeed on the passing of Arnold Palmer. I am not a golfer and never played the game in my life. However, like everyone else, I have followed Arnie's career, and living just a few miles down the road from Latrobe, it is difficult not to hear everything about him.
He was a fair and decent man who loved the game of golf, his family, his community, and his country.
His legacy will live here in Western Pennsylvania forever.

Mornin Doc. Ya, stumbled over a bunch of Saturdays and stepped right into a Monday.
Rain might be ending soon. 48 this morning.
