We'll take a ride to somewhere today. Most likely it will be to nowhere, which is always one of my favorite destinations.
Been there a few times, usually an interesting place. Got there a few times when I ran outta road and just kept going, but that doesn't always lead to nowhere, creeks & cliffs get in the way. This piece a **** never got nowhere, one of the worst bikes I ever had. Good thing I kept the old 305, it continued to take me nowhere after this thing wus history, including my longest trip to nowhere, and now I can't even remember how I got there.
Back from a ride-about. Joe, Dan & I started for somewhere and wound up somewhere else......Couple hunnert miles and we really went nowhere!!!!.......but that wuz somewhere.....wuzzent it?????
Checkin' in.....spent the better part of yeaterday and a couple hours today fillin' out forms for Medicare part B , Supplemental insurance and Rx coverage thru my wife's union and signin' her up for SS. S'posed to be able to do it on line. Of course, I was a "Special Exception" that couldn't do it on line. Had to call SS office, 15 minute wait, get somebody, 2 minutes into phone call I get disconnected. Call back, 20 minute wait. Guy tells me I have to fill 2 forms out and he'll mail them to me . (Like I trust him to do that and trust the Postal Service not to lose them) Ask him if i could get them online...he says yeah (doh). Download the forms, fill them out, take them to wife's school to be signed and then pysically bring them to SS office.
Didn't know the United Nations opened a center in Scranton, Pa. Talk about being the minority in there.I think i was one of the few people in there who could speak or read English. Still had to wait like everbody else.....I guess the fact that I've been w*rkin' and payin' for almost 50 years didn't mean anything. Anyway...finally all werked out . Finished it all up today..OK rant over
