I'm tempted to bring a air horn to work for this one kid that works for me. He's always falling asleep during our night shifts. I'm going to scare the **** out of him one of these days.

2 more days to Canada Day and a long weekend.

 

Congrats Mikee, got a 4 day weekend coming myself.

 

No riding today, an all dayer with the grandkid. Haven't mentioned the Ural to him, my riding urges lately have all been Harley. Finally got all the rebar mesh (100') straightened out, and I'm 5' short for the last section. Next year... I'll just stake those tomatoes. If I wanted to go without meat, I could live off fresh pick from the garden till it freezes. Probably get tired of kale & collards, though. Letting some of the pigweed grow this year, starting to like it. Might as well eat it, can't get rid of it, most persistant weed growing here.

 

Had to google pig weed,Amaranth, don't look too good but they say it's edible.

Day is done. Supper is done. 12 yards of sand is on the beach. Needs to be spread out a little more. Time to kick back and watch some baseball.

 

i'll kickback too.....gonna pass on the baseball....red sox stunk up the joint today.
