Woodtick, too bad you don't live next door, I could sure put your toy to good use.
I've got 7 largish stumps, buncha smaller ones to at least shave down so I can mow over them. Don't think I'll burn any more out, only reason I did on this one, had some big roots breaking the ground, tough on mowers and one root a little into where I till the garden. Won't be a problem now. Been slowly simmering down for a few days, woulda thought it would just go out after the flames died, but just keeps on glowing and shrinking. Weird how it looked like a giant roasted mushroom today.

Rumor is that they had to close because they were losing money. Seems some old badazz biker gang was taking over the place in the morning, scaring real customers away. The Geriatric Gang would buy one cup of coffe and sip it all morning then fill their pockets with packets of sugar, salt,pepper, ketchup and napkins.

All this may or may not be true.....self imposed hiatus from The King. Need a break from it all. Besides, had ta meet a guy this morning and Micky D's was the closest place.

83 today, and I'm still in the high 60's comfort mode. The roasted mushroom looking stump was ash this morning, few whacks with a sledge hammer and a root burned to a point was reduced to below ground level, all filled in and smooth dirt now. Only stumps left I'm gonna fool with are the ones that are lawn mower obstructions. At least 16 of those... 
Yesterday's rain forecast was about 5 minutes of sprinkle. Today's rain... what rain? But they're promising a maybe for tomorrow... I guess if I want rain, I gotta go for a ride on the Uralbeast.

Getting ready to watch KC beat the twins. High school fast pitch team is done for the season. They lost in first round of playoffs this afternoon.
