Moldie, interesting corrosion resistant test. I used the Fluid Film this year on the Ural, but never got to ride it in snow. SIL swears by it for all his winter plowing equipment.

Good morning sports fans. Still recovering, I have to take it easy for at least 3 days so Dr Buster D Boxer and nurse Putter D Gato are taking full advantage to apply pressure to the cath sight, I'm covered in pets, kids, and G-Kids. They all went home so I am researching ways to slow down or reverse plaque build up. There is very interesting research done on cocoa flavanols.....

Monday greetings to all. I know it's Monday, cause the gf went home, weekend must be over. Mebbe a few days of peace & quiet. Just remembered, gotta pick up the grandkid from school tomorrow... Had a gully washer this morning, been a typical Minnysota April, all the yardwerk to do and switch from winter to spring mode, and it's wet all the time. If we could just switch arid August with drenched April...

Biggest issue I have with salt is how it wicks under the spoke heads and rusts the inside of the wheel. Sure would like cast wheels on the Ural. I've seen some nasty stuf in spoke wheels when I pulled the tires off. Thinking about covering the spoke heads with rtv when I put the new tires on, even clean rain water rusts in there eventually.

At least it ain't raining in the house.

Gonna be busy when it dries a bit. Hard on the worn out back, too, lotta bending down.

Moldie, your quite the whoreticultarist !..

I sprayed all the spoke nipples with FF and a the little straw, then wiped it around with a k little artists brush. Stuff is supposed to wick into crevices pretty well.

So I skipped wurk, so? What are they gonna do, lay me off?

Been riding most of the day. Looks like I be needin some front brake pads. The Sporty takes DOT 5 brake fluid and I know it isn't cheap but it is affordable. So I look on-line for pads, $12 at Amazon, $19.99 at JP Cycles.

So I get this big idea to call Boswell's Harley in Cookeville.

$53.95 I don't need them that bad, I think I can wait till the next weekend, jeezzzy!

Where do you guys with older machines buy your pads?
