School run wus nice & cool this mornin, kid wore his Harley jacket and I wore my leather vest. Felt wunnerful after all the heat and humadity.

Retirement's wonderful, no doubt about it, but there are a few things we old farts get to do that aren't exactly near the top of our fun things to do list. A soda/pop this morning is the closest I'll come to food today. A grandma is going to have to pick up the little guy after school; I won't be able to get that far from my toilet. Tomorrow is... well, all I wanna think about tomorrow is the bacon cheeseburger, bowl of chili, and a few tacos I'll be able to eat somewhere around noon. Suspect a few of you know what that means...

I just finished cutting the grass and doing my twice yearly trimming. I did the other half last time. Man-o-man is it steamy out there already. I am finished with outside chores for the rest of today, even if I am not.

Hi Sco...T.....the good thing about this heat is the &*^%$ gr*ss ain't growin' and don't need cuttin'! came home early from breakfast with the Geritol Brigade...not in the mood to ride in a conga line . Plus they were headin' south. Got in a nice cool almost hunnert miles just goin' for breakfast..A/c is goin' in the garoffice...good place to be.

 

eh, I have laundry detail.....sitting unda a fan w/no a/c ....by choice. Aint too bad yet.
throwin some scraps to the dawgs in fla......might get some back!

 

Yup. Was 107* yesterday and 50% humidity.
