I just got off the phone with my bank. I wanted to know if I made a large withdraw from one of my accounts, ex: $12000. If Ya still had to fill out the paper work for the gobberment letting them know what your going to do with the money. Cash is still king in these here parts, and that's why we are all armed.

Anyway the lady tells me I won't have to fill out any paper work because I'm a long time customer. She said the paper work is still sometimes required, I guess it all depends who you are. Here's the kicker.... SHe also tells me I might want to let them know a day or two in advance, so they will not run short on cash. Really? It's a bank, and I'm not withdrawing $50000, or more.

Is my bank out of money? Maybe I should go get my money soon!!!

If obummer doesn't have your $200,000 tell him to cough up some of that gold.

Tell him to take it out of the Social Security account. Between me and my employers, probably paid that much in over the last 45 years.

Damn, that pisses me off just thinking about it.

Thanks Mark!!

Banks don't keep much cash...less now than they used to, but never much except in the old days when we lined up to get pay-envelopes, sign, and head to the bar. Yes, I remember...

I have had to "schedule" things with a local bank to get 7500 in cash, and that was in the 1990's... That's out here on the Coast..."State of Jefferson" country... Jefferson's got some great roads...

Oh yeah, I almost forgot a cool quote from a movie:

"Two can play at that game, soldier!...That's nice shooting soldier!" General Jack D. Ripper

Just thought that the brother from Tennessee'd like that. It's a favorite of mine, says a true thing in an accessible way - a kinnda "golden rule" thing. And it's why people have guns...

Sorry Jdub, if it's any consolation they got my loot too. With the current circumstances I'm thinking about opening up my own social security department. Just send me your money and I will hang onto it until it's time for you to retire.

Ya gotta start splittin' some of that money into different banks.....I think that they'll only insure for $250K at each bank....
